The Internatioal Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) is the largest electrical union in the world. The IBEW represents workers' rights in all areas of the electrical and telecommunication industries
The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) represents union electrical contractors who guarantee their installations and perform quality work on time and on budget.
In order to provide the highly skilled workforce necessary to meet cusomer needs and to ensure job satisfaction for electrical workers, the IBEW and NECA teamed up to sponsor a rigorous and well respected apprenticeship program: The Louisville Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (LEJATC).

Our Inside Wireman Apprenticeship Program requires 5 years of classroom related training and 8000 hours of on-the-job training. It offers the opportunity to earn wages and benefits while you learn the necessary skills to become a qualified Journeyman Inside Wireman.
