We are the 2600 plus members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 369
We are people who earn our living and live our lives by working for union employers in electrical construction, utility, maintenance, manufacturing, and telecommunications.
We come from many walks of life, we have many different faces, but we all speak with ONE voice. We stand up for fairness and dignity in both work and life. We believe in democracy and equal opportunity.
We are Moms and Dads, Brothers and Sisters, Sunday school teachers, scout troop leaders, armed forces reservist, volunteer fireman, little league coaches, and civic leaders.
We are the fabric of Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
“If any man tells you he loves America, yet hates labor, he is a liar.
If any man tells you he trusts America, yet fears labor, he is a fool.”“
Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital.
Capital is only the fruit of labor,
and could never have existed if Labor had not first existed.
Labor is superior to capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.”
~ Abraham Lincoln
